Every Picture Tells A Story

This album was given a bass remix. As with other albums the hard panning was softened and a light reverb fills out the stereo field. This was one of those albums that was really suited to this type of remix. The drums had a nice open sound with the vocals and the other instruments recorded very dry. It still takes good songs with good performances to make a good album but some albums lend themselves better to the treatment of modern technology than others. Those albums tend to be ones that weren’t overproduced. In the end you have to end up with something that is an enjoyable listening experience. It can sometimes be difficult for older recordings to stack up against music produced with todays modern technology but sometimes with a little help from that technology they sound even better.
